How do I create a group chat on the mobile app?

How do I create a group chat on the mobile app?

Step 1: Go to the Chat Tab

Provided you have permission, navigate to the chat tab in the Yay.com mobile app.  On Android, you'll then want to press the blue chat icon.  On iPhone, you'll want to press the pen and paper icon in the top right.

 

 

 

Step 2: Create a New Group

Create a new group by pressing the 'New Group' button in the top right corner.

 

 

 

Step 3: Name Your Group

Now give your group both a name and description.  The 'Open Access' toggle will determine if others in your organisation can join the group at will.

 

 

 

Step 4: Select Your Members

Choose the members of your organisation that you'd like to be a part of the chat.

 

 

 

Step 5: Start Messaging

Any messages sent to the group will now go through to all members.
